I'm Beth, owner of Embody Training

My love affair with exercise started in my late teens.  Exercise helped me to find the balance when studying for my finals. After starting work in the city, provided a cost effective way of commuting. It was also my downtime after a stressful day.  As I worked up the corporate ladder, I kept up the exercise. However, pitches, stress and late nights in the office meant that I was constantly tired, propping up my energy levels with quick energy fixes.  By qualifying as a personal trainer and nutrition advisor in Leamington Spa, I have seen changes in energy levels, better quality sleep and a more resilient body.

I have a unique blend of qualifications and experience. This combines fitness and nutrition, women's health, and Pilates. I create bespoke personal training programmes which go beyond just exercise and eating well.

In September 2014 I gave birth to a little girl. I truly believe that eating well and training helped me accept my changing body, contributed to a very short labour and helped me recover.  In 2017, I had a little boy via planned C-section. I created my own recovery plan, including core and pelvic floor strengthening work, scar massage and good nutrition.​ My recovery was progressing nicely until a period of huge emotional stress. I felt as though my recovery had done a U-Turn. So I did what I tell my clients to do...I worked with a women's health physio, took myself through the Holistic Core Restore ® Everywoman programme and rebuilt confidence in my body and my pelvic floor! 

I meet many women who are not having/have not had straightforward pregnancies and births. It's these women who fuel my passion to improve their pregnancy or post natal experience.  I've worked with many clients who are experiencing pelvic girdle pain, diastasis recti, pelvic floor dysfunction, incontinence and prolapse. I have a deep understanding of these conditions and how to help them.

I believe in helping women return to the exercise they love doing. I am a qualified Pregnancy and Postpartum Athleticism coach. As well as coaching women through Holistic Core Restore® programmes. I also work with local women's running group, Run Like a Girl, to help mum's have a safe return to running​.

Previous professional experience

Prior to working as a personal trainer in Leamington Spa, I helped to develop the media & marketing strategies of some of the biggest brands in the UK.  Before setting up my personal training business in Leamington Spa, I worked with 6 of the biggest Virgin companies in the UK, using customer data to help them understand their customers better to increase acquisition and retention.
