Meet Beth, owner of Embody Training

Beth Davies is a women's fitness and nutrition coach with 8 years of experience in helping clients achieve their goals. She helps women who are experiencing pelvic floor/core issues (such as prolapse, diastasis, and leaking) get stronger and more confident and get them back to the exercise they love. 

In 2013 Beth left the corporate world and took a leap of faith to follow her dream of creating a fitness business that wasn’t about shouting at people to work harder, putting clients through punishing workouts and restrictive diets, but about small lifestyle changes that made a huge difference to the physical and mental health of the clients she worked with. 

Working within the fitness industry, Beth saw how women's needs were completely underserved. It felt like women were trained hard regardless of their phase of life. It seemed as though many trainers missed the memo when it came to pelvic health, sleep and stress, menstrual cycles, and sustainable nutrition. 

In 2013, Beth’s business evolved to help clients navigate their training, fitness, and body image during times when their bodies were going through a huge and intense change - pregnancy and in the first year post giving birth. It was through helping clients who leaked or had prolapse or were struggling to recover, that she became passionate about pelvic health NOT being a barrier to the athletic life her clients wanted. 

Beth combines physical training and habit and mindset coaching to take women from anxious to athletic. She educates and supports women to build confidence and trust in their bodies so they can run, lift weights and even jump on the trampoline without worrying. She has helped many women move on from their pelvic floor issues and lead a wonderfully active life again. 

In 2018, Beth became a Holistic Core Restore Coach and along with over 100 coaches across the world now offers pioneering programmes and approaches to improve women's health across their lifetime. 

Beth is an ex long-distance runner who now prefers strength training or running up hills to hours pounding the pavement. She can often be found walking in forests with her 2 small people and her husband Chris, coffee and pastry in hand! 

Beth also runs a coaching business called Beth Davies Coaching which helps women in their late 30's and 40's get their sh*t together around food, exercise, and their bodies to make this their healthiest decade yet. She helps clients make small impactful changes and take them from chaotic to consistent with their health & wellbeing, and improve their experience of Peri-menopause.

Previous professional experience

Prior to working as a personal trainer in Leamington Spa, I helped to develop the media & marketing strategies of some of the biggest brands in the UK.  Before setting up my personal training business in Leamington Spa, I worked with 6 of the biggest Virgin companies in the UK, using customer data to help them understand their customers better to increase acquisition and retention.
